Sunday 21st August 2011: Mayoites, NAC participated in 63rd India Independence Day parade at New York.


22nd May 2010: Toronto, Canda About 45 folks attended including Mayoites from 5 decades.


Saturday 22nd August 2009: Summer Eastcoast Mayoites-NAC Dinner Gathering between 3-7 PM held at Hilla & Amrendra (Ammie) Singh ('64 Ajmer) at their home at 38 Edgewater Drive, Hainesport, NJ 08036.


Saturday 13th December 2008: Washington DC Christmas Gathering at Protik and Kamalika Sandell's place in Vienna, 7:30 PM, Northern Virginia. 703-501-5941. Guest Mayoite: Ranjit Babbar, Mumbai Resident, Retd. Air-India (Valmik's dad, Bhanu's uncle, Subroto's "mitro") All Mayoites and Local TIPSA members invited.

Sunday 23rd November 2008: Noon Luncheon at NY - Earth-nyc Restaurant Attended by Amrendra Singh, Anil and Iram Ganju, Bhanu, Abby and Oliver Singh (7 months son), Navin Sharmam Ranjit Babbar (MUMBAI) and Subroto Mitro.

16th November 2006: NYC, The first Pan-India public schools alumni get together supported by Mayoites NAC.


Washington D.C Picnic on August 19th, 2006: Approximiately 35 old boys from the Northeast area and their respective families attended a picnic held at Protik and Kamalika Sandell's home in Vienna, VA. Additionally, for the first time, Mayo NAC extended their invitations to Scindian Alumni, present in the area. To our delight, several Scindians attended the event. An idea of an Inter-Public School gathering was informally discussed with the focus being on organizing an event where Mayo, Doon, Scindia and few other select schools can come together to celebrate and rekindle their friendships, sporting rivalries or even meet each other and expand the network of alumni present in the U.S. Look out for more details on this later this year.


2005 Mayo Alumni Get-Together: The 2005 Mayo Alumni Get-Together took place on Saturday, November 12 at Jewel of India. Apart from the regular alums, we had some new faces that showed up. Also, we had an increased Mayo Girls' representation this time. A special thanks to all those that made a trek from cities as far as Boston and Washington D.C. All in all, it was a great event to round up an exciting year of Mayo activities. Happy holidays, Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to all!


12th August 2005: First NYC Happy Hour Gathering: Alumni, batches from 1992 to 2002 met up for a happy hour get together at Dream Lounge in NYC.


Annual 1999 Batch Reunion in Boston on July 3rd 2005: The 1999 batch had a small reunion in Boston over the Independence Day weekend. The alumni spent the weekend staying together and reminiscing the "Mayo Days" back then in school. The weekend was supplemented by a round of golf and a game of tennis, followed by watching the Boston July 4th Fireworks display. The alumni plan to continue the tradition to meet up annually in different locations.


Round Table Conference Team from Mayo on March 19 2005: A team of 4 boys and professor attended a Round Table Conference held in Vermont. The trip was financed by Mayo College to participate in this conference attended by 29 prestigious high schools from all over the world. The team managed to spare time from their busy schedules to tour several tourist destinations, including, NYC, Orlando, Buffalo and Washington D.C. Thank to you the generosity of Kunall Patel, host to the team's NJ accommodation, who escorted them to several NYC sites during their stopover in the NY Tri-State area.


Get-Together at Shaan of India on 26 November 2004: Thank you for all those who attended the event. We had appx. 30+ alumns attend the event with their friends and family members. It was a great experience to mix and get to know people from batches representing the 70s, 80s and 90s. As more and more alums reside in the NY Metro Area, we hope to see more familiar faces at future events. Lastly, thanks to all those who flew and drove down to specially attend the event. All the best for 2005 and we look forward to seeing you again in the future.


1999 Batch Reunion on 16 January 2004: In mid-January 2004, the last batch of the 20th century (1999) met up in Newark, NJ and NYC for a few days. In attendance were Gaurav Singh (Monitor), Akshay Mathur (Monitor), Kunall Patel (School Captain), Saket Bansal (Monitor) Karn Agrawal (Monitor) and their respective guests. Also in attendance were Mayo Girls, Mini Kaur and Lil Kaur, to name a few. In order to live up the tradition of rivalry and friendship towards our competitor schools, the Mayo Old Boys also met up with a few Old Boys from Scindia School, Gwalior.


Sunday 21st December 2003: Our Christmas gathering at Washington DC took place around Noon for a Luncheon at the www.IndiaPoloClub.com. About 22 individuals attended. Mr. SSN Ganju, teacher and Ex-Principal, Mayo College was the Guest of Honor and Mrs. Ganju, past head of Jaipur House also attended. Mayoites, NAC is proud and fortunate to have celebrated this occasion as it was the 25th year since Mr. SSN Ganju had left Mayo College (in 1978 and it had been 50 years completion of his working life since 1953). He still continues to work at Jabalpur, MP.

Sunday August 17th, 2003: The India Independence Day Parade in New York  was attended by Mayo Alumni in the NY Metro area. With their active support and participation, the Alumni represented Mayo NAC for the first time in the parade. The parade participants held the Mayo College NAC banner and wore their proud Mayo T-Shirts, walking down from 42nd Street to the 29th Street on Madison Avenue. And not to our surprise, we did get a few cheers and shout outs from the public/greeters while walking in the parade. And to complete the celebrations, the participants got a wave from the Chief Guest, Sonali Bendre, who is married to a Mayoite, Goldie Behl. Thanks to all who participated.

Saturday, August 9th 2003: A luncheon gathering at Utsav Restaurant in NY was attended by appx. 25 people, out of which we had Mayo Girls Alumni represent MCGS for the first time. Thanks to all who attended and keep the spirit going.
